  1. The file PFROISW.EXE contains PFROI V3.8 in compressed format.
  2. You must have at least 900K of disk space to decompress.
  3.  
  4. To decompress, place this disk in the "A" (or "B") drive, then
  5. change directories to the directory into which you wish to have
  6. the files decompressed (we suggest you create a directory named
  7. "PFDIR").  At the DOS prompt execute PFROISW as follows:
  8.  
  9.    C:\PFDIR> A:PFROISW<Enter>
  10.  
  11. The file PFROISW will then decompress into the target directory. 
  12. (Users of DOS 2.0 or 2.1 must first copy PFROISW.EXE to the target 
  13. directory before decompressing).  To run program, at the DOS ">" 
  14. prompt type "PFROI<Enter>"  (w/o quotes, where <Enter>  is the "Enter" 
  15. key).  To run self-running demo, at DOS ">" type "RUNDEMO<Enter>".  
  16. Documentation is contained in "DOC" files which may be read by 
  17. executing "RNR<Enter>" from ">" prompt.

  26. A super portfolio manager.  Handles virtually all investment 
  27. types and transactions (e.g. stocks, bonds, mutual funds, 
  28. options, real estate, etc.; reinvestments, splits, shorts, 
  29. margin, etc.). Computes both dollar and time weighted ROI 
  30. before and after taxes for securities and portfolios. Cost 
  31. bases computed using FIFO, LIFO, Average, and specific lot 
  32. methods.  Reports include transaction, position, dividend, 
  33. interest, capital gains, ROI, cash flow reports plus Graphics. 
  34. Scrollable transactions permit easy input and viewing of data. 
  35. Handy features include "masking" and sub-totalling for exam-
